RONOG will take place on September 27 at Radisson Blu Hotel, Bucharest. In its eighth edition, RONOG 2023 will bring together network operators, internet providers, IT professionals and governmental organisations to tackle connectivity challenges and telecom trends. Guests can hear from influential speakers at Nokia, TP Link or Kentik and learn more about 5G, high speed networks or global radio technology.
Marcin Bala, who impressed at last year’s conference with a presentation on the benefits of xWDM technology, will be back in Bucharest with a talk on high speed networks.
“As technology continues to advance, the telecommunications industry is facing the challenge of meeting ever-increasing data demands”, explained Bala. “Network operators are still benefiting from the migration to 100G from lower speeds like 10G and 25G.
“Nevertheless, upgrading bandwidth from 100G to 400G and eventually to 800G brings several challenges. I will discuss some of these challenges, but also the benefits of increasing bitrates and achieving high speed networks.”
On top of listening to Marcin’s presentation, attendees can also visit the Salumanus booth to find out about the latest optical solutions on the market. The company is currently upgrading their popular Smart Recode Device (SRD), which allows users to create universal optical transceivers by reconfiguring their memory. The new product will be launched this autumn, but guests can test the SRD 4.0 at RONOG.
RONOG guests can hear Marcin’s presentation between 12:30 – 13:00 or visit the Salumanus stand until 17:00 on September 27 at Raddison Blu Hotel in Bucharest. To register your interest, visit the conference’s page.
